1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing and using FeedMe ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use FeedMe. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of FeedMe constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.
2. Service Description
FeedMe is an AI-powered nutrition application that allows users to:
- •Log food intake and track macronutrients
- •Receive personalised recipe recommendations based on nutritional goals
- •Integrate health data from Apple HealthKit and other platforms
- •Access nutrition education and guidance
FeedMe is available as a web application and mobile app (iOS and Android). The Service is provided "as is" and we make no warranties about its availability, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose.
3. Account Registration and Responsibilities
To use FeedMe, you must create an account by providing:
- •Valid email address
- •Secure password
- •Basic profile information (age, height, weight, fitness goals)
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account information. You agree to:
- •Provide accurate and complete information
- •Keep your password secure and not share it with others
- •Notify us immediately of any unauthorised account access
- •Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use FeedMe. Users under 18 must have parental consent.
4. Subscription Tiers and Billing
FeedMe offers both free and premium subscription tiers. Billing terms vary by tier:
- •Free Tier: Unlimited access to core features at no cost.
- •Premium Tiers: Available through both the App Store (iOS/Android) and web checkout with recurring billing cycles.
- •Pricing: Pricing is clearly displayed before purchase and may vary by region and platform.
By purchasing a premium subscription, you:
- •Authorise recurring charges to your payment method
- •Will be charged on the specified billing cycle unless cancelled
- •Can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or the App Store/Google Play
All sales are final. Refunds are available only where required by law (e.g., within 14 days of App Store purchase in certain jurisdictions). Please contact legal@feedme.health for refund requests.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use FeedMe for any unlawful or harmful purposes. Specifically, you will not:
- •Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- •Engage in harassment, abuse, or discrimination
- •Attempt to gain unauthorised access to FeedMe systems
- •Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to discover source code
- •Use automated tools or bots to scrape or spam the Service
- •Transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code
- •Create multiple accounts to evade suspensions or access restrictions
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these terms.
6. Intellectual Property
FeedMe and all its content, including text, graphics, logos, images, code, and software, are owned by or licensed to FeedMe Limited and are protected by UK and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not:
- •Reproduce, copy, or modify FeedMe or its content without permission
- •Use FeedMe branding or trademarks without authorisation
- •Remove or alter any copyright or proprietary notices
Content you create within FeedMe (food logs, notes) remains your property, but you grant FeedMe a perpetual, worldwide license to use, analyse, and improve the Service based on this data.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
FeedMe is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:
- •The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
- •All nutritional information is accurate or complete
- •AI recommendations will achieve your fitness or nutrition goals
- •Any defects will be corrected
FeedMe is not a substitute for professional medical or nutritional advice. Always consult a doctor or registered dietitian before making significant dietary changes, especially if you have health conditions or take medications.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FeedMe Limited and its employees, directors, and agents shall not be liable for:
- •Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- •Loss of profits, data, or revenue
- •Damage to reputation or personal injury
- •Results or outcomes from using nutritional data or AI recommendations
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of FeedMe shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability, so this may not apply to you.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless FeedMe Limited and its employees, directors, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- •Your violation of these Terms
- •Your use of FeedMe
- •Your violation of any law or third party's rights
- •Content you post or create within FeedMe
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflicts of law principles. You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts for any disputes arising from these Terms or FeedMe.
If you are a consumer within the UK, you may have rights under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived by these Terms.
11. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it through your FeedMe account settings. Termination is effective immediately, but you remain liable for any outstanding fees.
FeedMe may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms or engage in illegal activity. Upon termination:
- •Your right to use FeedMe ends
- •Your food logs and account data will be deleted within 30 days (unless legally required to retain)
- •No refunds will be issued unless required by law
12. Changes to Terms
FeedMe may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or prominent notice in the app. Your continued use of FeedMe 30 days after posting changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, or if not possible, severed. The remaining Terms shall continue in full force and effect.
